How do I get rid of chicken pox in my throat?Nothing is working so far...throat drops, spray, gargling salt water, it feel like strep but my mom thinks it's chicken pox in there. It hurt to talk or drink or eat anything. I cant stand it anymore...what can I do!? If you say I need to go to the doctor, give me a good reason otherwise my mom won't listen and won't take me. =/

I think if your mom thinks it is Chicken Pox - then that is good enough reason to take you to the doctor.
At the very least go to a pharmacy - the pharmacist will be able to correctly advise on something to make your throat feel better.

Go to the doctor! If you're that sick you probably have a bacterial infection in your throat.
A good reason is that if you have tonsilitis, which sounds likely, you need antibiotics and if the infection gets bad enough you'll need to get your tonsils removed, which will be very expensive. Oh, and you'll be very sick and miserable.
I have never heard of chicken pox in your throat.

You probably should go to the doctor. I dont think you can get chicken pox in your throat. So i dont think it chicken pox, but Im not a doctor, so I could be wrong. If you have tried all those things and nothing has worked then there is somthing wrong, and your sick. That is a good enough resaon to me. I think if you explain to your mom whats going on and that nothing is working she will take you to the doctor. Hope this helps, good luck and hope you feel better

doctor. Tell your: mum what if its something serious and don't tell me its chicken pox because as far as i know, your not a DOCTOR..

You need to go to a doctor immediately. Any sort of "eruption" will cause swelling in your throat and can cause trouble breathing. If it's just a sore throat you can see a doctor, but if you aren't sure go to the ER to be safe.
