Rash after chicken pox vaccine? Best answer?

Rash after chicken pox vaccine? Best answer? My little sister had her chicken pox vaccine on Wednesday. This morning, she had these tiny little bumps on her arms, and some on her face and neck. She doesn't have any other side effects, no loss of appetite, fever or nausea. My mom and I think that it's just a reaction to the vaccine. Is there any chance that it's the actual chicken pox? If it is just a reaction, is it contagious? I've never had the chicken pox myself, but I am vaccinated. Please help :( I'm really worried about her and she's really scared.

XOXO

PS: I was told to give her two 25mg doses of benadryl, should that help with the itching?

About 1%-4% of vaccine recipients develop a very mild rash or several small bumps following chickenpox vaccination. [NOTE: In very rare instances, it may be possible for someone who gets a rash from the chickenpox vaccine to transmit vaccine virus chickenpox to another person. Persons developing a rash after vaccination should take extra precautions to avoid contact with anyone whose immune system is not working properly.
