is being exposed to chicken pox between 12- 26 weeks a danger?ok,, im a playgroup leader,,, one mum dumbly sent her kids to playgroup even though their older child was at home with chicken pox,,, the next week one of her other kids who was at playgroup the week b4 ended up coming down with it aswell
she still sent her other son who hasnt come down with it yet,,, he couldv been carrying it
i found out this week that the reason her kid wasnt there was because of their chicken pox outbreak
- we have 3 pregnant mums between 12 and 26 weeks and 3 newborns under 3 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what do i do?,, i know i have to tell them, but do i tell them theyr in danger?,, help xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If they have had chicken pox before(pregnant woman) then they should be fine, just make sure they take precautions if they must. If they have not had them, they should see a doctor asap!
As for the newborns I would probably inform the parents what information u have just found out and make sure they are well look after and taken to their doctors asap!
U cant judge the mother whos children came down with the chicken pox. She herself could be pondering where her children got it as well. And if her other children who didnt have it at the time were playing with other children, chances are they SHOULD be fine (now im not 100% on this)
