Vaccinations cause fever?I'm 12 1/2 and i got my vaccinations (chickenpox and menacrta) on Saturday and the rest of saturday i was fine. but on sunday it swelled up big time i also had a slight fever 99.7. So i took Tylenol and pouted all day. Monday came and i couldnt go to school because i still felt sick so i checked my temp and it was 102 so my dad called my doctor and said to take motrin i did and she also said that it shouldn't last for more than 3 days. Now its tuesday and i have a 99 fever again my is still swelled up but its less. So i really need to get back to school so how can i feel better?

Also i was worndering if i am contagious

Yes, vaccinations cause fever and a lot of other things, like autism. paralysis, swelling, the disease they are supposed to protect you from.

You shouldn't go to school until you feel better (especially if the vaccination was of "attenuated live virus"). You could shed this virus and make your classmates sick,

I hope you will be ok. I would avoid future vaccinations.

True, Vaccinations do cause fever. Tylenol and alot of rest should help;

Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
