How long does it take for chicken pox not to be contagious?My 13 year old son has them...

When they have scabbed over this usually takes 3-5 days once all spots are out. My son was non-contagious after day 7 from first spot showing

about a week are they scabbed over if so and there is no Fever then he is ok i would think but you might want to check with your doc

till they are scabbed over. But even then some schools will not let you return till the scabs are gone

L Nana,my friend,they are only contagious,until they come out,once they are out,they are not,and it is fine then,so once the spots are out its ok,i hope it Helps in some way,
