Chicken pox and pregnancy related problem.?

Chicken pox and pregnancy related problem.?I'm 24 years old and live with my sister. The problem is that i'm having chicken pox meanwhile my sister has already got it around 3 years back. What worries me is that she is 3-4 months pregnant now after been trying to have a child for 2 years. Please advise if there would be any harm to her health or the baby ?
Thank you.

yes, there would be.

Have her talk to her Doctor and see what you two can do.

The thing is you have already exposed her and the unborn baby to it.
good luck

when i was a baby i had chickenpox i was told i wouldnot get them again when i was 30 i took them again by getting smit by a child they were worse be careful

Don't worry so soon, the baby is unlikely to get it because during this time the baby has an immunity towards certain diseases becauses the mucus in its stomach lining is nearly doubled, but only for a time, but remember the baby needs some kind of germ interaction to develop an immunity towards them. But that doesn't mean you should let someone with the flu rub all over them. hoped that helps

In all likelihood, the baby is fine. If your sister really did have chicken pox 3 years ago, she most likely developed protective immunity to re-infection with the virus.

Her obstetrician can test for antibodies to the varicella-zoster virus which is the causative agent.

Antibodies are transferred across the placenta, so her baby is passively immune to chicken pox as well, at least until a month or so after birth.
