I already had chickenpox. I want to know about shingles....once you get it, can you ever get it a second timeOr do you have an immunity to it after you get it once? Thank you!

You CAN get chicken pox and shingles more than once.

no, you can get it again. My mom had it 3 times. To have it more than once is very unsual, but very well can happen.

I do think Shingles can come back....and it is hard to get rid of in the first place, so if you have symptoms, it could still be from the first episode.
