great question. i had chicken pox. very nasty. the zoster shot is not very effective for older people. my doc said it,s good about 40% of the time. my sister had shingles at age 4. she made medical history. i guess we,re both covered by immunity. i,m 63. i,d ask a doc. you don,t any of these things.
