You have already been exposed and at this age (I am in my 30's) it is very dangerous. If you are going to get it then there is nothing you can do. Be cautious of what you feel like and seek medical advice if you are worried.

your son is lucky tro have chicken pox at a young age it becomes more dangerouse if u get it when u are older. Most people recomend u keep your son away from other children as it is infectiuos but personaly l think children should get chicken pox when they are younger .As for u well l recomend u get if u contract the chicken pox from your son you start meds as early as possible as it maybe fatal at your age

yup...you are already exposed to it...seek medical help asap if you notice same signs/symptoms you've observed in your son...wash hands thoroughly...your doctor might prescribe your son med for itchiness to minimize scratching w/c may lead to infection if he does this w/ dirty hands...so proper hand washing can help a lot in this stage...other members of the family must also observe precautionary measures as this can be spread through contact or respiratory means...

WebMD's a pretty good place

Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
