It is rare to have chicken pox twice. Unless you had a really mild case last time, then you should be a-ok.

If you've already had it, then I doubt you caught it from him.

Chicken pox spread from the patient to another person at the time the patient is healing, not before that . So in your case you don't have to worried. And it is also rare having chicken pox twice. So go for the holiday and have fun.

It is very unlikely to get chickenpox twice in a lifetime, as your immune system produces a 'memory' of the particular virus after it fought off the first infection.

This may be a little more information than you require, but in fact the chickenpox virus continues to remain dormant and inactive in your body even after you recovered from chickenpox. The virus may become active again when the immune system is weak, for example, during periods of great stress, and the virus causes a disease called 'shingles' that is characterised by a painful rash.

So don't stress and enjoy your holiday!

edit:
As your mum had never had chickenpox before, she is susceptible to infection. The chickenpox virus is spread through airborne droplets and when they are inhaled, may develop into the disease (much like how the common cold or flu is transmitted). Chickenpox in adults is more serious than in children, so she may need to go see the doctor who might give her a shot of antibodies to help protect her from developing chickenpox (but it will only be a short-term protection), or may prescribe antivirals to help fight the virus.

you cant get chicken pox twice so close together. If you get it twice... the second time will usually be when you are elderly. And if your first time was mild.
