Anybody's baby have a reaction to the chicken pox vaccine? My daughter received hers today and she is up to date on all her shots except the MMR ( I'm delaying it for about a year )...anyway when you read the small percentage of what "could" happen in rare circumstances it still scares the h*ll out of me...she's fine but it's only been a few hours..she's never had a reaction (besides a bump ) to any other shot before and I'm hoping this is no different.
How was your child after the chicken pox vaccine and how old were they when they got it ( my daughter is 15 months old )

I have 4 children all have had their shots on time and NEVER had any reactions, only the last 3 had the varivax(chicken Pox) needle (all at 15 months one actually got hers last week) but they also NEVER had a reaction..All Moms worry! It means you are an awesome Mom just keep an eye on her and hopefully she will have no reaction!! Good Luck

I worry more about what is likely to happen if you don't get it done. My parents didn't get me vaccinated and I got measles, mumps AND whooping cough. I could easily have died. My daughter's ha all her vaccinations with no problems.

Children in the UK aren't offered a chicken pox vaccine so my DD never had that one but is up to date with all her immunisations. The only one she ever so slightly reacted to (ie had a slight temperature but nothing else) was her MMR, but was fine the next day! If she's never had a reaction to a vaccine before then the chances of her reacting to this one are extremely slim xx

Hi
I'm sure she'll be fine x
I'm getting anxious about MMR jab :(
Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
