can you get chicken pox more than once?


can you get chicken pox more than once?Ive got bumps on me and they just came on me skin like 3 days ago. my mom said that i had chicken pox one time but it was a small one on my neck and the doctors said i could get it again. how do i know if it is chicken pox and is it possible that i can get them at an older age. what should i do?

You can get them again. I've heard of this before. My aunt got them when she was a baby but it was a very mild case. She got them again later.

Just ride it out. It'll be over after a week or so and you'll never get them again.

My wife knew of someone in highschool who had a wierd immune system (or lack thereof) who had gotten them 3 times (and every other bug that got passed around).

Yes, if your first case was mild. Even if you've had the chickenpox shot, you can get it again.

I am not sure- you might! You can get shingles- I do know that! If you are older! You should got to Doctor- I will say a prayer for you! bye

If you have had a small dose of pox you can get them again.

I had a small case when i was 4 and when i was 6 i had them again
