Confused about virus names - chicken pox (varicella zoster) and shingles (herpes zoster)?

Confused about virus names - chicken pox (varicella zoster) and shingles (herpes zoster)?Okay, chicken pox is Varicella zoster. Shingles is Herpes zoster. Shingles is known to be the "grown up" chicken pox, and you can get it when the chicken pox virus you had as a kid (varicella zoster) becomes dormant and then returns as an adult. How does it change from varicella zoster to herpes zoster? What is bothering me about this is that it looks like they don't even belong to the same genus.

They are both caused by the same virus- varicella zoster virus (VSV) Varicella being chickenpox and shingles being zoster. It is from the herpes virus family. Its just nomenclature.
