Is it possible to get chickenpox even after I got the vaccine?

Is it possible to get chickenpox even after I got the vaccine?I saw online somewhere that chickenpox can be fatal as an adult. I got my chickenpox vaccine when I was maybe 10 years old. Im 16 now. Could I still catch chickenpox even after I got the vaccine?

Answer by MagnusMoss
Yes, if you have a wussy immune system.

If you *DO* get it a second time, it is normally much milder the second time around.

Chickenpox is dangerous if you get it for the first time as an adult. (Although it is rare for it to actually kill anyone).

You could, especially if you only had one dose of vaccine. If you have not had the second dose, you should. This reduces your chance of having chickenpox from about 30% to about 10%, and reduces your chance of having a severe case to nearly zero.
