Ok mom. First, just because one family member comes out with chickenpox doesn't mean at all that any other sibs in the family will do the same. Actually, there may be more of a risk for older adults whose immune system hasn't maintained a reactive antibody level. Remember that second time around chickenpox is called "Shingles". The big question is did all children receive their immunizations? If not then all children not vaccinated are at risk. If the child who broke out has a history of vaccination, then that happens occasionally. Fortunately chickenpox is not known to be a deadly disease.
