Age 27 and never had CHICKEN POX.?

Age 27 and never had CHICKEN POX.?Hi, I'm 27 years and I've never had chicken pox. I've been doing research on the net and I found out that chicken pox vaccine can prevent chicken pox but that it is not 100 % sure. Some people who had vaccine still caught it although the cases were reported to be mild.

When should I get a vaccine? When the symptons started showing or now?

I'm still doing my research about it but I would like some feedback on actual experience or about anyone you've heard of with the same case.

actually i think you should. chicken pox is totally unharmful when you are a child, but when you are older it takes a much harder toll on your body and also can turn into shingles. i would reccomend getting that shot.

A vaccine is preventative, so you should get it as soon as possible. Adult cases of the Chicken Pox can be quite serious.

I had the vaccine myself when I was about 8. So far it's worked out fine (I'm 20 now).

Get the vaccine. They will not give it to you if you are sick. Chicken pox are worse for adults. You might feel a bit under the weather when you get the vaccine but it beats the stuffing out of full blown chicken pox. Also a clarfication. If you have EVER had chicken pox, it can come back to haunt you as shingles. Go get that vaccine!
