Can i get chicken pox?

Can i get chicken pox?My girlfriend has chicken pox. I was all over her the day she started itching but she didnt know what it was. She went to the doctors a couple days and got diagnosed as chiken pox. I never had chicken pox because i was vaccinated as a kid and i geuss it worked succefully. How long should i stay clear from her?
