The challenges the body has defending it from the pathogen (causing chickenpox)?I'm trying to do this last homework question and could use some help. I wanted to talk about a viral pathogen... perhaps the pathogen that causes chickenpox! So, the varicella zoster virus. With a vaccine available I'm not sure how I would really fully answer this question, any help would be BEYOND great!...
I need to choose a pathogen and comment about the challenges the body is going to have in defending itself from this pathogen. In terms of initial defenses against invasion, how replication of the pathogen might be inhibited and how the pathogen might be killed and eliminated from the body. If the pathogen secretes a toxin, discuss how the effects of the toxin might be neutralized.

Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
