Chicken Pox Emergency!?

Chicken Pox Emergency!?My dance recital is next Friday and I think I've got chicken pox, i need to get rid of them fast because there is no way i can skip rehearsal Tuesday and Wednesday and of course my recital Friday. The worst part is that my dance teacher is about 7 months pregnant, and I've heard that when you have chicken pox it's really bad to be around pregnant women . Are there any ways to lower the risk of giving it to other people?
i'm a 14 year old girl and fairly healthy

You are, unfortunately, stuck with them! You definitely need to stay home, and away from others.

One medication that may be prescribed is acyclovir. Acyclovir is recommended for people who are more likely to develop a serious case of chickenpox, including otherwise healthy individuals 13 years of age or older. In order for acyclovir to be effective as a chickenpox medication, it must be administered within 24 hours of the onset of the chickenpox rash.

One thing you need to know is that chicken pox are much more dangerous in adults or teens than children. If your recital is next week there are many things that can help you become less contagious within a week. You need to see a doctor immediately, for your health more than your dance. Your doctor will let you know how long till you are not contagious anymore. If there is even a slight chance of spreading it, you will have to cancel rehearsals, as it is not advisable at all to get near a pregnant woman. Your doctor will advise when you will be able to return, and if you explain your situation, he may have measures to speed recovery
One other thing to know about pox is the faster you are seen by a doctor after the initial onslaught of symptoms, the faster recovery by a large margin.
I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck in your health, and dance.
