How can I stop my 2 year old becoming permanently scarred from Chicken pox?My 2 year old is recovering from Chicken pox and all her marks are now scabbed over however, she has 1 massive scab right between her eyes which has been rubbed off in the bath today and left a big crater mark, how can I treat this to stop further scarring? I have an Aloe vera plant and have rubbed some of the sap in as I heard Aloe vera helps?
Please help I really dont want her to have a bad scar
Thanks
Kate

Just try to prevent her from scratching or picking the scabs off as doing this can cause scars.
To help any scars she is left with I find using Bio-Oil is good. You apply it twice a day every day for at least 3 months.I recently had chicken pox (im 15) which was a bit of a pain and I stupidly picked the scabs and was left with many craters all over my body.Bio-Oil has really helped them and now they are merely little pinky marks.
And btw I had exactly the same problem.Massive crater in between my eyes :P
Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
