is there a timeline that must be adhered to between the Varicella, MMR, and Td shots?? or all together?

is there a timeline that must be adhered to between the Varicella, MMR, and Td shots?? or all together?for LPN school, can the students have all of these immunizations in one visit??? is there contraindication w/MMR and Varicella together? do they have to wait one month after MMR to get Varicella? some docs are advising this, where some docs give all at once

I don't think there is an issue with taking the vaccinations together.. as long as it isn't from the same needle or in the same location... it should be fine

The supposed autism link between the disorder and shots, has been attributed to shots being administered too close together, that the overload of immunizations can cause a developmental disorder such as autism. Nowthat theory has NEVER been proven, so officially, it is NOT true, that shots can cause autism. That said, it is better to space them out and stick to a schedule to have them done every few months, within the first two years. You absolutely should get your children immunized and it is better to be a bit late than to be too early.
The reason why some doctors give them all at once is because the company that has the patent on the drugs, Merck, does not offer them seperately, so it will depend upon what your insurance covers, as well as that of your doctor. There is a huge push amongst doctors and parents to release the patent and/or file anti trust, so other companies can manufacture the immunizations and children can then receive them a la carte. But, as you know immunization is big business, as is pharmaceuticals

They may be given on the same day. For the live vaccines (MMR and varicella), if they are not given on the same day, they must be given at least 28 days apart.
