My 14 year old has chicken pox and can't sleep at night due to itching, what can I do?

My 14 year old has chicken pox and can't sleep at night due to itching, what can I do?He has them on his stomach, chest, back, thighs, and private areas. We are applying camomile lotion regularly but he is still very itchy. He woke up with them yesterday morning. Does anybody have any suggestions or reccomendations that we could try to help relieve the itching? Preferably something that is suitable for everywhere on his body including his private areas. Thanks in advance!

Hot Oatmeal bath, you can buy it like regular oatmeal, or you can buy a special kind at any store

Tomato Juice bath. It helps the itch and not as sticky as oatmeal. BUT it can be a pain to clean the tub out after either one!

At the drugstore buy some Benadryl and give him that. It will reduce the itchy's.
