Pregnant and my Toddler has chicken pox???


Pregnant and my Toddler has chicken pox???So i'm 21 weeks pregnant and my 17 month old has the chicken pox. Being pregnant, do I have anything to worry about? Will it hurt the baby? Should I call the doctor?

As far as im aware aslong as u had chickenpox as a child then u are fine but i deffinatly would take medical advise on this

Yes, you should not be exposed to Varicella (chickenpox) disease while pregnant. Hopefully you have either had the virus before or been vaccinated against it. You need to contact your physician either way.
