Could my baby be having a reaction to the chicken pox and measles vaccine? My 1 year old got a Measles,Mumps,Rubella Vaccine and Chicvkenpox vaccine 9 days ago. In the past few days she has started getting little red bumps on her skin. Could that be a reaction to one of the vaccine?

Yes. But it's not a "bad reaction".
About 1 in 10 children develop a very mild form of measles approx 10 days after the vaccine. This includes a rash, and fever, etc. This can be a side effect of the Varicella vaccine too. It's a fairly common side effect and is seldom of any consequence.

Usually they have a reaction in the first few hours or two days. But a vaccine is a form of what your protecting her against, so it's possible she has low grade chicken pox or one of the others from the vaccine. It's rare but it happens. Call her doctor and let them know she's having this reaction. It may have nothing to do with the shot though.
Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
