Can chickenpox make you blind? I have one dead on my eye, VERY worried...?I got the chickenpox about 2 days ago I believe. My face is the worst part, I've had bad acne and now chickenpox all over my face, I can't tell which one is which so I'm not even touching it. Well I went into a walk in clinic and the doctor told me that it was chickenpox and she told me if i got it near my eye that I should go to the ER since it can lead to blindness. I did some research but failed to find chickenpox and blindness related althought I found that SHINGLES and blindness are related. did my doctor make a mistake or can chickenpox near your eye make you go blind? I have one right on my eye lid near the eyelashes, VERY close to the bare eye, TY!

GO BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND SHOW HER WHAT HAPPEN.
