absolutely. the vaccine does not prevent you from getting the disease at all it just helps to lessen the severity.

Yes, he can definately still get it. A lot of mothers try and expose their children to chicken pox so that they get it while young, and not an adult when it's much harder on the body.

No vaccine is 100% effective. The varicella vaccine (which prevents chicken pox) is between 70% and 90% effective after both doses of the vaccine. This makes it unlikely that a vaccinated person will contract chicken pox, but it is still possible. The vaccine is designed to prevent chicken pox completely, but even if it does not do so, it is still worthwhile because it results in a much milder case than in someone who was not vaccinated.
