Can a person have "Shingles" more often than once?

Can a person have "Shingles" more often than once?I know that shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox, and you get chicken pox only one time. Is this true with Shingles also?

Answer by Liz
People who get shingles often get them again and often in the same places

Shingles is a virus that can lay "dormant" in your body. Recurrences can happen and often happen in times of stress...

Yeah, coming from experience. It's stress that triggers it more than anything else. When I got them the first time, I had major stress but now that i've done things to calm myself down I have yet to get them again.

You can get them more than once because Shingles is stored in your spine (alongside i think) and it remains idle. Not fun to get. It hurts and you're pissy all the time.
