Could she get it from him?

Could she get it from him? Please help! I was wondering if it's possible for my baby to get chicken pox from being exposed to another child who has had the chickenpox vaccination, (he got the shot then got a few red bumps but not serious) the nurse said to keep him away from the other children to be safe.which I didn't know at the time they didn't touch at all, just came close to one another Now my daughter suddenly has a rash on her back and belly. It doesn't look like chicken pox. What do you think? Yes I am taking her to the doctor.

I don't think so, I've never heard of that, and when my daughter had her Chicken Pox vaccination they never told me to keep her away from other kids. Usually the virus in vaccines is dead and therefore can't cause the illness. It's probably a coincidental rash, but hey, you never know, stranger things have happened.

I wanna say that yes I have heard of that...but I can't remember ...I have a four month old and I haven't slept in 6 months...but if I remember correctly I think that yes if the child in question experiences the rash from chicken pox as a result of the vaccination that there is a contamination risk...but I'm not sure..

The doc will tell you mamma...no worries.

It's possible. You didn't say how old your baby was. If she's under six months, it's unlikely. Babies that age have the mom's immunity.
