i think i might have chicken pox and my baby is only 3 months old ?ive recently come out in a rash and am going to se my doc today but im afraid i might have chicken pox. my baby is very young and im scared what it will intail if i have got them. will i have to stay away from him what if he catches them pls help

i doubt you have chicken pox. i also think the baby is fine. my son had them at 6 weeks. then got them again. first time around was really bad. second worse. that was unusual though.

No, your baby will be fine, all kids get them, the younger the better, actually. I can't remember at what age but my kids got a vaccine for Chicken Pox so maybe your baby has too. Best wishes.

Its wont be the end of the world if he catches it, the younger they are the less scaring they get. I would speak to your dr when you go. I work in a nursery and i have known babies to get to before.

Don't worry about it - it's far better for baby to have chicken pox as an infant. If you did have chicken pox you'd be feeling absolutely awful - it really is quite horrific for adults (I know - I had it when I was 36 - worse thing ever.) I hope for your sake it's not!
