Varicella(chicken pox) shot question?

Varicella(chicken pox) shot question?Okay. So i had the Varicella shot in 2000 when i was 8 almost 9 years old. I am 19 now and recently had a blood titer done to see if i was immune to the chicken pox. The results came back and i have no immunization. How is this possible if i had the shot?

Answer by Brian
You're right to be concerned. Especially for the fact if they want to give you another shot. Two immunizations for Varicella could make your arm explode.

Answer by Johnlm09
the strain of the shot was not strong enough to inoculate immunization.

Answer by Al
Because no vaccine is 100% effective, and even if you had immunity previously, it wore off.

Answer by Mark
Either lab error or you didn't produce a response to it. Repeat the test and have the shot again.
