If he was vaccinated, then its pretty unlikely he would get chicken pox. That's what a vaccination is for. Your body is exposed to a weakened form of the virus, and it develops antibodies for it. That way the next tiem your exposed, you don't get sick.
Some people who don't get chicken pox as children develop shingles later in life. I think your brother will be fine.

the vaccination will prevent him from having chicken pox.
otherwise he will get them when he's an adult.
either way he'll be fine.

I am the mother of seven children who are now grown. Some of them caught some childhood diseases while sleeping in the bed with some who didn't. Some people have a natural immunity to some infectious diseases. However, if he was vacinated, then that is the reason he didn't catch it. He may or may not ever catch it, but if he does it will not be a serious problem. The only childhood disease that can cause problems in adulthood is mumps if you are male.
If he does not catch chicken pox then that is good because adults who've had chicken pox are the only ones able to catch shingles when they get older.
Get the facts on the chickenpox vaccine, treatment, causes (varicella zoster virus, VZV), symptoms and signs (itchy, red rash).
